Cesspool Services Ensure That Your Cesspool Continues To Operate Correctly

Septic Preservation Services work with many customers that don’t have conventional septic systems on their property but instead have a cesspool. As stated on the Mass Gov website:

“A cesspool is a pit which acts as both a settling chamber for solids and a leaching system for liquids. The use of cesspools may overload the capacity of the soil to remove bacteria, viruses, and phosphorus, and to nitrify ammonia and organic nitrogen compounds. A conventional septic system has a tank where solids can settle and begin to degrade, a distribution box, and a soil absorption system (SAS) that further treats the effluent by removing some of the bacteria, viruses, phosphorus, and nitrogen.”

Although cesspools are now not installed because there are more efficient and environmentally conscious alternatives Massachusetts does not always require cesspools to be replaced. They state that:

“Only those cesspools that exhibit signs of hydraulic failure, are located extremely close to private or public water supplies, or otherwise fail to protect or pose a threat to public health, safety or the environment will need to be upgraded (310 CMR 15.303). Also, cesspools must be upgraded prior to an increase in design flow (e.g., the addition of a bedroom to a home or seats to a restaurant).”

For more information see the Mass Gov Website

Leach Field Repair with the Installation of a White Knight™ Microbial Inoculator/Generator

Septic Preservation Services have been contacted by a property owner in Sharon MA who has a leach field problem which has been caused by it becoming clogged with the excessive amount of organic matter that has been passed to it from their septic. We will repair their leach field without needing to replace it with the installation of a White Knight™ Microbial Inoculator/Generator.

In nature, oxygen-using (aerobic) bacteria in the soil consume non-living organic material. This is the process nature uses to “recycle” wastes. We install the White Knight™ Microbial Inoculator/Generator in the septic tank to create an oxygen rich environment and cultivate an extensive colony of these same soil bacteria.

The result is nearly complete consumption of the organic materials entering the septic tank. At the same time, the bacteria are carried into the leach field where they consume the organic material that has accumulated in the underlying soil. The leach field regains and/or maintains its capacity to deliver effluent to the soil for purification.

The White Knight™ Microbial Inoculator/Generator includes:

  • An installation costs thousands of dollars less than that of a replacement leach field
  • Minimal disruption to existing landscape
  • Protection of the environment
  • Significantly longer tank pumping interval
  • Conservation of natural resources
  • 100% component and limited lifetime performance warranty

We have other septic repairs scheduled today in Norton, Mansfield, Stoughton, Canton and Foxboro MA.

If you want to have a White Knight Septic Installation, need a septic repair or if you have any questions please do contact our Norton office on 877-378-4279 or visit Septic Preservation Services

Septic System Installation To Start In Attleboro MA

Septic Preservation Services has to keep up with all state and town septic regulations to ensure that we can give our customers the best possible septic service. Today we are starting a septic system installation for a customer in Attleboro MA. Our customer had previously had a tight tank which is going to be replaced with a much more efficient and environmentally sound septic system. As stated on the MA Gov website https://www.mass.gov/service-details/title-5-faq

If you require a septic installation, for any reason, or if you have any questions about our septic services or septic systems please do contact our Norton office on 877-378-4279 or visit www.septicpreservation.com

Septic Cleaning and Septic Pumping In Lakeville MA

Septic Preservation Services have been called out to a customer property in Lakeville MA to provide septic cleaning and pumping. Septic pumping will remove all of the sludge from the property’s septic tank which can not be processed like the liquid waste is. However septic cleaning takes the pumping one step further and ensures that their septic system is not just pumped but it is also cleaned. We utilize specialized miniature equipment to locate specific areas of their system, such as a sewer cam which is used to investigate the inside of the sewer lines, and jetting equipment to clean the pipes within the leach field. When you have your septic system cleaned and pumped you are improving the efficiency of your system and making sure that it will keep running smoothly until your next pump out is due. Septic pumping is usually required every 3-5 years but this can vary depending on a variety of factors such as the size of the tank and the amount of wastewater that is being processed. If you have a garbage disposal you will need a septic pump out annually. Today we have additional septic cleaning and septic pumping appointments in Mansfield, Sharon, Stoughton, Canton and West Bridgewater MA. If you require septic pumping or septic cleaning or if you are unsure and have questions please do contact our Norton office on 877-378-4279 or visit http://www.septicpreservation.com

Septic Cleaning Will Extend The ‘Life’ Of Your Septic System

Septic Preservation Services know that proper maintenance is key to ensure that your septic system operates correctly, efficiently and continues to do so. Without regular maintenance your septic system will fail and will need to be replaced much sooner than if you had regular preventative maintenance. Getting your tanks cleaned on a regular basis will help to improve the efficiency of your septic system and keep it running smoothly. Having your septic tank pumped, which must be done every 3-5 years, does not always mean that your septic system is also ‘cleaned’. Septic Preservation Services takes pride in the work that we do, utilizing specialized miniature equipment to locate specific areas of your system, such as a sewer cam that is used to investigate the inside of your sewer lines, and jetting equipment to clean the pipes within the leach field. Today we are providing septic cleaning to customers in Foxboro, Mansfield, Sharon, Wrentham, Bellingham and Stoughton MA. If you would be interested in Septic Cleaning, Septic Pumping or have any septic questions please do contact our Norton office on 877-378-4279 or visit http://www.septicpreservation.com

Title 5 Inspections For Condominiums In Addition to Private Homes and Commercial Buildings

Septic Preservation Services know that if you live in a condominium without town sewer you are unlikely to have anything to do with your septic system. This is because unless otherwise stated in your condominium associations governing documents:

“The condominium association is responsible for the inspection, maintenance and upgrade of the system or systems serving the units” as specified on the Mass Gov website. If goes further to say:

“Condominium systems should be inspected once every 3 years. Condominium developments with 4 or fewer units should also have their system inspected every 3 years, or within 2 years prior to the sale of one of the units.” for more information see –

https://www.mass.gov/guides/buying-or-selling-property-with-a-septic-system

We provide Title 5 Inspections for condominium associations as well as private homes and commercial properties including restaurants and office buildings. Today we have Title 5 Inspections in Middleboro, Mansfield, Bourne, Carver, Marion and Rochester MA including one for a large condominium building of more than 5 units. New England Weather Doesn’t Stop Septic Appointments Happening
