The majority of our septic system inspections are carried out because a property owner is selling their property and it has not had an inspection within the last 2 years so it is required to have one. Our inspector will use use the MassDEP-approved inspection form and submit it within 30 days of the inspection. For most systems, the Inspector is responsible for submitting the inspection report directly to the Board of Health. The buyer must also receive a copy from the seller of the property.
