Septic Engineering Appointments Including A PERC Test in North Attleboro

Septic Preservation Services has qualified engineers working for us who can assist with your septic engineering needs. Today we have septic engineering appointments which include soil evaluations, land use planning, and construction layouts for large commercial developments and private homes in North Attleboro, Wrentham,Foxboro, Sharon, Bellingham and Franklin MA. The soil evaluation or PERC test (percolation) that we have scheduled in North Attleboro is a soil test that is performed before installing a new septic system. The perc test is extremely important because it measures the level of liquid absorption of the soil where the proposed septic system will be located. This is necessary because after partially treated wastewater leaves the septic tank, it flows into a distribution box, which separates this flow evenly into a network of drainfield trenches. Drainage holes at the bottom of each line allow the wastewater to drain into gravel trenches for temporary storage. This effluent then slowly seeps into the subsurface soil where it is further treated and purified (secondary treatment). The PERC test provides the information to ensure that this process happens correctly for a newly installed septic system.
