When Cooking Your Thanksgiving Turkey Dont Pour Oil, Fats Or Grease Down The Sink

Septic Preservation Services wishes everyone a Happy Thanksgiving for tomorrow. We know our customers are also looking forward to Thanksgiving and food preparation is well underway for Thanksgiving Meals. We would like to remind our customers that it is not a good idea to put any type of cooking oil, fat or grease down the sink where it can enter your septic system. Whilst a well maintained septic system can cope with small amounts of fat, oil and grease, such as natural body oils that go into your septic system when you shower, if you regularly introduce cooking fats, oils and grease into your septic system it could result in a septic system failure if left . Just remember when you are making your beautifully juicy turkey dinner do not pour the fat, oil or grease down your sink. We have been conducting Septic Repairs in Carver, Middleboro, Halifax, Norton and Taunton MA that could have been easily avoided with a little knowledge and preventative measures. If you have a question about your septic system or you need to schedule a septic repair please contact us on 877-348-4279 or visit www.septicpreservation.com

Biological Remediation Saves Septic System Without Having To Dig It Up

Septic Preservation Services were contacted by a homeowner in Stoughton MA who’s septic system had failed due to “old age” or organic clogging. The excess organics or human waste from the tank overflow to the leach field and over time this clogged the soil. This means that the leach field could no longer do its role so the system failed because waste was no longer adequately treated before entering the soil. Fortunately for our client Septic Preservation Services are experienced with a process called biological remediation. We were therefore able to save their septic system without digging it up. This of course was much cheaper and a lot less disruptive that digging up and replacing their entire septic system. Our experience with biological septic remediation means that customers throughout the region have benefited from this service, recently in Norton, Canton, Wayland and North Reading MA. If you think that biological remediation could be a solution to your septic problem or if you have septic concerns or questions please do contact our office on 877-378-4279 or visit www.septicpreservation.com and we will be happy to help

Septic Pumping Is Necessary If You Have A Septic Tank

Septic Preservation Services regularly find that homeowners with Septic Systems are mistakenly under the impression that if their septic system is left alone and there are no signs of septic problems within their home that it will continue to work without maintenance and attention. Septic systems will always require septic pumping but the regularity of this is dependant on a variety of factors including the size or your septic tank and the number of people in your household. We recommend that you have your septic tank pumped every 2-5 years so for example a household with teenage children and a smaller septic tank will need to be pumped more often than a home of a retired couple. A home with a garbage disposal will need to be pumped annually. Today we have septic pumping scheduled in Oxford, Uxbridge, Graton, Blackstone, Holliston and Upton MA. If you are unsure if your septic tank needs to be pumped or need to schedule a septic pumping please do contact our Norton office where we will be happy to help on 877-378-4279 or visit www.septicpreservation.com
